Would you like the opportunity to drive and shape what change management looks like on our enterprise change programs? We currently have a vacancy for a Head of Enterprise Change and Transformation at our site in Preston.

As a Head of Enterprise Change and Transformation, you will be reporting into the Head of Programmes and Transformation and will be based in Preston, bringing together the management and delivery of Enterprise Change programmes, complex transitions and transformation programmes on behalf of EITS across the Group.

This role will provide the necessary leadership, assurance and hands on delivery support across the portfolio ensuring that there is an accurate and integrated delivery roadmap and appropriate governance. It will provide you with the opportunity to gain exposure within EITS and within the wider Shared Services Business unit, the OCIO, and with Business Unit IM&T leads as you will be interfacing with senior management and IM&T directors.

Your main responsibilities as a Head of Enterprise Change and Transformation will involve:

Overall responsibility and leadership of Enterprise Change programmes, transitions and transformation Programmes and Projects in EITS across the group, in conjunction with management and direction with key suppliers.

Managing interdependencies between key programmes and sequence/prioritise work to optimise the output and experience through delivery into change embodiment.

Ensuring all, including third-party, resources are managed effectively to meet the required outcome through clear direction and consultation. To review the performance of delivery in conjunction with key supplier and customers to maintain transparency and rigour in delivery against schedule & budget.

Maturing and agree the change delivery framework with the BUs and OCIO taking into account Lessons learned, external expertise and broader business requirements.

Building a world-class ‘business change’ capability that can be leveraged across the group through project delivery lead or supported by EITS

The role will involve the liaison with the senior directors and leadership teams to review and assure exceptional delivery of change projects, meeting expectations set in the business success criteria.

Liaising with Program/Portfolio and Project Directors/Managers to solve complex problems, helps evaluate resource needs in order to ensure the right resources are assigned to the right projects/assignments.

Working through technical complexities, stakeholder challenges and project escalations to resolution with regards to design and build phases of a programme.

Advocating and complying with the IM&T End to End Delivery Model to enforce standards and best practices within delivery that are focused on cost savings, high performance, high reliability, quality of user experience and architectural alignment of solutions.

Providing guidance in strategic planning or complex problem solving for programs and projects.

Your skills and qualifications as a Head of Enterprise Change and Transformation:

Executing large scale programmes and establishing integrated teams to deliver the expected outcome(s).

Highly resilient, confident and commercial - able to reach independent conclusions and develop informed and cost-effective technology solutions.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to gain the trust, respect and confidence of colleagues, partners and key stakeholders, with the presence and ability to be impactful at all levels of the organisation.

Technical expertise in delivering IT programmes
Knowledge of Integrated Business Planning
Degree desirable
APM Qualified or Prince 2 Qualified
