FundApps is a SaaS scaleup that helps investment managers monitor and comply with worldwide regulations. We were one of the world's first "RegTechs" and we're shaking up an entire industry. Our first area of focus was to help managers with Shareholding Disclosure, a complex regulatory problem without a fit-for-purpose solution in the market.

Since that time, our service has become the undisputed market leader for the management of Shareholding Disclosure. We have also added new ground-breaking services - Sensitive Industries and Position Limits - and in 2020, have introduced Rapportr to make reporting simple for our clients.

We've won multiple accolades from organisations such as Wired, The Financial Technologist, World Economic Forum and Deloitte. We have a stellar list of high-profile clients, including 3 of the world's 10 largest hedge funds. In total we monitor over $12 trillion in assets under management every single day - this represents ca. 15% of global assets! Better yet, we're just getting started! We're a small team (currently ca. 70 people) of smart, friendly people with 30 nationalities at last count. We have offices in London, New York and Singapore and employees spread across the globe. What you'll be doing

As a member of the leadership team and reporting to the CEO and Founder, you will play a pivotal role in driving and supporting delivery of all of FundApps sales, pre-sales, partnerships and marketing activities globally. You will be a people leader, mentor and coach to an awesome team of professionals, including people leaders, SMEs and those in their first BD gig. You'll also partner with our Product, Client Services, Engineering, Finance and People Ops teams to ensure our delivery and plans are aligned to company objectives and we have a sustainable revenue pipeline to grow our business.

We designed this role as a CRO to represent the level of impact and influence it will have on the growth and future of FundApps, and the breadth of business development and people leadership skills necessary to do the job well. But if you're looking for a job where you can stay at 30,000 ft, this is probably not the right role for you. As a small, growing and dynamic company you can expect to roll your sleeves up and support delivery - from how we tailor our sales process to buyer types and segmentation, to how we mentor and support the career development of our people, to how we coordinate global sales plans, territories and incentive models.

Sales

  • Formulating a global strategy to ensure FundApps carries on its phenomenal growth well into the future
  • Coordinating global sales plans, territories and quotas with the regional leads
  • Maintaining overall commission plan strategy and making improvements as the team grows
  • Implementing scalable processes to generate opportunities and close business in a predictable way
  • Preparing sales reporting & forecasting and driving transparency of performance across FundApps
  • Building upon our consultative sales process to keep FundApps competitive and innovative
  • Leading pipeline reviews including lost deal analysis and retrospectives. Ensuring CRM is clean and current
  • Ensuring sales knowledge (FAQs, objection handling, training material etc.) is maintained accurately
  • Business Development

  • Collaborating with Product in identifying new service ideas and supporting existing product development
  • Working with CEO, CFO and Product on pricing strategies
  • Working with Marketing to devise a strategy to ensure product / company is placed as well as possible
  • Identifying valuable emerging markets and working with Product to develop the market strategy
  • Leadership

  • Providing visible leadership to direct reports and the broader team
  • Motivating the team to achieve the best results possible
  • Identifying hiring needs and working with People Ops / team leads to select and train new team members
  • Conducting regular 1-1s with team members to provide coaching and feedback
  • Setting team and individual objectives to ensure clarity in the team
  • Requirements

  • You've significant, demonstrable experience with a multi-product portfolio in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment
  • You've a strong track record in delivering rapid revenue growth and scaling of businesses in the ยฃ10M to ยฃ100M ARR range
  • You've grown and managed global sales and marketing teams, including the creation of growth and scaling strategies, inbound marketing strategies, channel partnerships and benchmarks for analysing performance
  • You're passionate in and have a track record coaching and mentoring sales & marketing professionals at all levels, from people leaders and experienced sales managers to more junior team members and new hires
  • You're comfortable and keen to roll up your sleeves and lead from the front with day to day delivery
  • You've built and maintained strong relationships with CxOs of key target clients and channel partners
  • You take a keen interest in industry trends and are ready to evaluate and incorporate new opportunities into how we work and what we offer
  • Selection Process
    We think it's important to be transparent around our process up front. This is a senior and influential role and we recognise the need for both FundApps and candidates to have ample time to assess each other in an authentic way to see if there's a fit. Likewise, we know it's important for candidates throughout the recruitment process to meet their potential new colleagues and team and ask questions of them.

    Stage 1 - Initial chat with People Ops team
    Stage 2 - Interview with CEO, Head of Product and Head of Client Services. This will include a presentation activity which you'll be provided with beforehand.
    Stage 3 - Interview with CTO and Head of People
    Stage 4 - Interview with the Sales & Marketing team
