As a Business Inteligence I&C Director you are going to manage/provide
direction to the day-to-day running of operations in the Incentives and
Commissions (I&C) environment and Business Intelligence (BI) whilst supporting
the activity in the WW DCG business across its Geos with the teams reporting
to this position.
This function will include the support of the Business Management System (BMS)
and development for core KPIs tracking in support for the business; including
Finance, Services, market segments, channel, incentives & commissions,
transformation projects, organizational change management, Global Supply Chain
engagement and business analytics along with any other requirements to
progress the business. It will require the management of regular interlocks
with other Lenovo WW and Geo functions as needed. Team management, including
people managers in Geo and management of a team of business analysts,
Additional functions to engage on and carry out:
Collaboration with Finance to support the assessment and monitoring of
target deployment and be able to implement procedures to ensure proper
internal controls for all aspects of I&C on margins and target/attainment
Consistent focus on process efficiency and continuous improvement,
leveraging existing systems and tools to drive it, maximizing the user
experience. Ability to challenge the status quo at a WW and Geo level, and
interaction at WW level with different functions.
Report to upper management the Data Center Operations successes in meeting
goals and objectives.
Ability to upskill and drive best practice in team in all aspects of
analytics and data visualization. As BMS influencer, business track and
projection, managing and control of main KPIs, metrics and analytic. Pipeline
control in cooperation with segments (Global, Enterprise, Mid Market, SMB).
Provide Operations and management with weekly reports or ad hoc outlining
the Data Center weekly successes, risks, Initiatives, and business needs.
Interact with Geo to design and implement the tools for sales and operations
teams to leverage and increase efficiency.
Optimize and develop single multi-Geo views of reports and analytics tools
to provide business insight to sales leaders such as: WW business reporting.
Geo BMS; Acquisition plays; Account planning; Channel business tracking;
Segment specific analytics; Win/loss ratios; Pipeline hygiene analytics;
Business predictability; based on previous results; pipeline; load, ship.
Create a clear timeline for I&C processes: sales plan adaptation/creation;
Target deployment; Attainment calculation.
New developments in Anaplan modules to better support quota deployment for
I&C like territory target recommendation and supporting automated processes.
Effective communication and influencing skills at all levels through the
organization to drive effective and successful change management and
articulate not only the ‘What’ but also the ‘Why’
Management and development of the team. Managing people in local and in
Providing inspired leadership for the DCG Operations organization, making
important policy and strategic decisionsand their implementation, help promote
the company culture.
Work with the senior SLT members to determine values and mission, and plan
for short and long-term goals.
Partner with Sales VPs on ongoing basis and to advise on viability of
operational changes across the markets
Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company.
Engagement with Geo GM and Operations leaders, Segments and BT/IT.
Leverage “one Lenovo” in projects and business.
What experience and skills should You have :
- 8-10 year experience in Operations, management and leadership.
- Understanding of general finance and budgeting, including profit and loss,
- Experience in alignment with countries and be used to work in an
- Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, partners, and
employees, to engage peers and extended teams
- Enterprise Server experience.
- Experience communicating technical information in a clear and concise manner
with Executives managers, non-technical leaders and internal customers.
