The Technology & Product Learning & Development team, part of the Platform & Marketplaces organizationat Expedia Group creates positive employeelearning experiences, inspired by our passion for travel and technology, to ignite our high-performance culture. This is a team oflearning designers, facilitators, program managers, and technical training developers and specialists. The teamcreates and facilitates skills-based learning programs to enable technical talent across all Expedia Group brands to reach their career goals and improve their skills.Learning & Development for our tech talent serves over 5,000 engineers, product managers, data scientists, data analysts, and other tech roles globally.
The team is hiring aTechnicalTrainerto build out end-to-end learning programs, resources, and courses primarily for Expedia Group engineers. This person willhave the opportunity to support other learning programsled by the Tech and Product L&D team, while owning content creation, curriculum design, and course facilitation for both new and existing courses!

What you’ll do:
Help execute the ongoing strategy and mission of the Tech & Product Learning & Development team.
Assist in developing & maintaining technical training content, lab exercises, presentations, and accompanying materials.
Periodically embed with teams to learn new systems, technologies, frameworks, and ways Expedia Groupuses them.
Deliver instructor-ledand onlineclassroom training totechnical employees at Expedia Group ona regular scheduleacross multiple time-zones to reach our global employee base.
Work with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate, effective training content.
Design new technical L&D programs and curriculum working with a Program Manager who will help plan and manage the program launch.
Who you are:
5+ years of experience inFull-stack development with emphasis on back-endengineeringa plus.Data Science and Machine Learning engineering a plus.
Recent experience (within the last 12 months) architecting, deploying, devOps and/oroperating Internet scale applications
BA/BS or equivalent preferably in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related fields (applicable experience may be substituted)
This individual must have demonstrable experience of a combination of relevant technical training and/or prior experience in a technical role.
Experience conducting classroom training for related technology products and services
High level of initiative, passion, and desire to create a world-class user experience for customers
Experience collaborating on a cross-functional and cross-geography team.
