Principal Project Leader

Would you like to be responsible for the day-to-day management of one or more shared cabinet integration projects, responsible for defining, planning, managing and delivering complex projects to meet customer and business requirements?

We currently have a vacancy for a Principal Project Leader that can be based from Frimley or Portsmouth.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to work on a high profile and key project with multiple stakeholders delivering directly into the Dreadnought programme.

Your main responsibilities as a Principal Project Leader will involve:

    Developing and maintaining coherent, fully integrated and workable project plans and budgets to ensure successful integration of Common Combat System cabinets and enclosures.

      Working closely with Technical Authority, Engineering Manager, Supplier Manager and Planner to implement plans and deliver the scope of work.

        Leading, controlling and monitoring the projects so that they are delivered to agreed time, cost and quality requirements, regularly reviewing and reporting on progress against plan and where necessary, intervening to resolve issues which threaten delivery to plan

          Building and maintaining effective liaison with all stakeholders, functional groups and shared services involved in project delivery

            Leading and managing the development, agreement and resolution of project risk, opportunities, assumptions, dependencies and exclusions

            Your skills and qualifications:

              Ability to create and work plan with multiple internal and external dependencies

                Strong controls and reporting experience

                  Experience working on the entire project life cycle including delivery

                    Excellent stakeholder management skills

                      An APM qualification is desirable
