Would you like to join one of the Major Area Integration Teams (MAIT) which is part of the Dreadnought whole Boat integration team? This is an important and visible team that is responsible for the cross functional integration of design and build to deliver dreadnought. We currently have a vacancy for a Senior Project Manager at our site in Barrow-in-Furness.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be working on the most advanced machinery in the world which is critical to the UK's defence capabilities.

Your main responsibilities as a Senior Project Manager will involve:

Provide integrated independent programme view across engineering, supply chain and build.

Provide cross function support and issue resolution

Help set the scope and demand sequence that drive engineering

Manage the integrated baseline and current plan

Responsible for ensuring all material demand is clear and any issues to support build are highlighted

Involves significant stakeholder management across multi-functional areas

Provides a key interface to 3rd parties such as Rolls Royce, the USA, and combat systems

Your skills and qualifications:

    Experience throughout the entire project life cycle.
      Engineering within a Manufacturing Background ideal.
        Experience in submarine or shipbuilding environment preferred.
          Experience working across multifunction teams.
