IM&T Business Analyst

Would you like to join the IM&T Integration team which analyses and manages all information systems and service requirements for Tempest? We currently have a vacancy for a Business Analyst at our site in Warton.

The Tempest programme is focused on delivering a capable, flexible and affordable future combat air system by the mid-2030s, providing military, economic and industrial benefit to the UK and our international partners.

As part of Tempest you will liaise with the wider IM&T competency centres and the rapidly growing Programme areas across multiple sites, buildings and systems to deliver against requirements ensuring the IT service provision meets the programme needs.

Additionally, the role will be pivotal to service improvement for the Tempest Programme using improved internal process adaptation, reporting and governance, providing information driven requirements and reporting.

Your main responsibilities as a Business Analyst will involve:

    Assisting Tempest Programme staff from all areas to access IM&T services regarding support activities

      Acting as a liaison between Tempest Programme partner organisations regarding the delivery of collaborative capabilities

        Creation of weekly/monthly reports to drive process improvements

          Ensuring all Programme on/off-boarding is managed according to IM&T guidelines

            Production of Programme specific IM&T communications

              Gathering of requirements and onward delivery of capability

                Define solutions to emergent need and also that the delivery of capability is enacted according to agreed timescales and costs

                Your skills and qualifications:

                  Identification and management of Project/Programme risk and opportunities

                    Strong reporting skills

                      Mobilisation of IT hardware/Software

                        Demonstrate aspects of Project Management

                          Project & Budget management - Budget/Accountabilities: Awareness required

                            Demonstrate aspects of Project Management

                              Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

                                Awareness of service delivery management (ITIL)

                                  No qualifications required essential, however PRINCE2 or (APM) would be desirable.
