About Eurobank Program:

The firm is planning to consolidate the 3 EU CIB and WM banking subsidiaries into a single EU banking entity, the ‘EuroBank’.

Driving this decision is the continuing harmonization of prudential regulation across the EEA, a desire to simplify our regional legal entity structure and an objective to optimize the regions governance, risk and controls management framework.

The legal entity consolidation will have a cross business impact as the Treasury Services, Securities Services, Markets, Global Clearing and Lending & Global Trade businesses all utilize these entities, as well as having potential cross functional impacts (e.g. tax reporting, regulatory reporting).

Role Description:

Operations is hiring a Program Management Office (“PMO”) Manager to coordinate and manage the Eurobank Programs Governance framework for operations.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Partnering with the line of business and cross functional operations program leads to define key milestones and the programs critical path.
  • Manage program governance throughout the program life cycle
    • Preparing and updating consolidated program level Risk, Assumptions, Issues and Dependency (“RAID”) logs
      • analyze and report program risks, issues and dependencies
      • interlock interdependencies across lines of business and functional groups
    • Preparing and updating consolidated Milestone Plans & Critical Path
      • monitor the programs progress against the execution timelines, ensuring timely escalation as needed
    • Track and trace timely Operations Workstreams inputin JPM project tool by
      • Reviewing available Operations Workstreams input on a continuous basis
      • Following up with respective Workstream leads on missing input - if applicable
  • Produce accurate and timely program status reporting throughout the program life cycle
  • Coordinate the operations Eurobank Program Control Committee (“PCC”)
    • Support preparation of meetings and related documentation (presentations, meeting minutes,etc.)
  • Perform Operations Budget controlling for the EuroBank Operations workstreams
  • Ongoing coordination with the Central Program Management Team and technology
  • Managing a team of up to two employees.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Demonstrate strong prior Program Management Office (“PMO”) experience, especially with respect to cross business and cross functional programs. Must be able to demonstrate outstanding delivery track record
  • Good knowledge of project and program management methodologies and techniques
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple streams.
  • The ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems.
  • Excellent communication (both oral and written), ability to create and deliver executive presentations
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a matrix organization
  • Proven ability to quickly build relationships and influence colleagues, business leaders, and functional partners
  • Knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures
  • Have a relevant degree or appropriate industry experience
