We are recruiting an Embedded Software Development Engineer into our Engineering Technology Team supporting projects in industries such as automotive (including F1), metrological, hydrology, energy technology and oil & gas. With a desire to attract Engineers who value varied teamwork and being challenged in technical problem solving.

As an Embedded Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing software systems, both bare metal and with an RTOS (Micrium, Linux)
  • Investigating problems, debugging and creating solutions for users
  • Leveraging expertise to resolve technical issues in the field or during the manufacturing process
  • Providing legacy product support, resolving issues, adding enhancements and verification
  • Remaining current with new technologies, trends and methodologies relating to software development and verification

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have demonstrable experience in full life cycle of embedded software development, including requirements and reviews
  • Be skilled at development and verification using C/C++ and C# (optional)
  • Have experience with design and debugging using IDEs (IAR, CCS, Visual Studio, Momentics, Eclipse)
  • Have experience developing and verifying STM32 and similar microprocessor and microcontroller embedded UI, application and driver software
  • Have experience developing multi-processor embedded linux system using Ethernet embedded communications
