Lead Data Analyst

Would you like to join the Lightning Operations Centre (LOC) to provide data analysis and analytics for the UK’s most advanced fifth generation aircraft? We currently have a vacancy for a Lead Data Analyst at our site in RAF Marham.

As a Lead Data Analyst, you will use a range of tools and techniques to perform data analysis and visualisation and also help develop and mature the Business Intelligence and Data Analytics Capability at RAF Marham.

Your main responsibilities as a Lead Data Analyst will involve:

    Manipulating and linking a broad range of data sets.

      Performing data analysis to where required to rapidly identify and support resolution of emerging issues

        Summarise and present evidence-based, actionable data and conclusions to senior industry and customer stakeholders at RAF Marham.

          Identify and explain the business significance of performance measures (Levers & Drivers) surfaced during data analysis e.g. Identify air system performance degraders and trends based on operational data.

            Support theF35 Performance Management Lead with Continuous Improvement activities and events

              Evolve and mature the performance measures to inform and drive services improvements and ensure effective, efficient and accuracy performance reporting.

                Provide Technical Authority for the integration of Data Analytics Capabilities deployed at Marham

                Your skills and qualifications:

                  Experience using Tableau, Cognos and Microsoft Excel

                    Experience interpreting requirements and presenting data in a clear and compelling way, using graphical representations and data visualisations

                      You will understand conceptual, logical and physical data modelling and can develop knowledge of data cleansing and standardisation

                        Experienced managing stakeholder relationships in order to produce mutually beneficial outcomes.

                          Knowledge of Supply Customer Training, Chain Management and maintenance services would be beneficial.
