Electronic Warfare and Electromagnetic Environment Technical Specialist

Would you like to play a key role as an SME (Subject Matter Expert) to provide guidance and direction for the development of the MES (Mission Enablement Services) within Air? We currently have a vacancy for an Electronic Warfare and Electromagnetic Environment Technical Specialist at our site in Lincoln (can work remotely).

As an Electronic Warfare and Electromagnetic Environment Technical Specialist, you will be supporting systems for future combat air programme, develop toolsets, processes, understanding of all mission data needed to operate future platforms, working the full end to end process.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to develop specialist skills at the cutting edge of upcoming technology. Additionally you will be able to demonstrate original thinking, alongside collaboration and your initiative, working flexibly between teams and locations.

Your main responsibilities as an Electronic Warfare and Electromagnetic Environment Technical Specialist will involve:

Understanding and developing of requirements in current and future BAE Systems Air capabilities, particularly in the area of data enablement

Development of intelligence mission data people skills through sharing knowledge

Development of data test and assurance processes

Development of intelligence mission data tools, applications and processes for the CAAP enterprise

Development of Electronic Warfare Environment Scenarios

Your skills and qualifications:

Experience of Electronic Warfare Environment Scenarios for 5th/6th generation platforms

Intelligence Mission Data experience (Electronic Warfare Integrated Reprogramming (EWIR))

Experience of Electronic Warfare mission data development for 5th generation platforms, including multi-spectral modelling, data assurance and data testing.

Ability to understand customer/organisation strategies and translate these to specific tasks that are required

Electronic Warfare mission data people skill development

Ability to work across internal and external teams, establishing shared agreements to take account of differing stakeholder strategies

What we're looking for in you:

You will be a highly specialised individual with a mix of the skills and experience above who can contribute to the multi partner development of Mission Enablement Services. Furthermore, you will have the proven ability to work in multi-disciplinary collaborative teams including the customer and potentially international partners, this will be demonstrated through your ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders across all levels.

Location: Lincoln/Remote

Salary: £43,268.00 +
