LTEWP Programme Manager

Would you like to be an integral member of the Typhoon Electronic Warfare Contract Delivery Team? We currently have a vacancy for a Programme Manager at our site in Warton.

As a Programme Manager, you will lead the management of all integrated schedules including internal and external supplier management.

The LTEWP Contract is the delivery of an Electronic Warfare capability into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. As part of this contract BAE is responsible for the EW Programming element and the provision of the toolsets that allow the RSAF to perform this task.

Your main responsibilities as a Programme Manager will involve:

    Responsible for the submission of LTEWP milestones as per the contract, providing cash forecasts to the business

      Actively manage Technical risks to avoid draw down for fall back solutions. Develop retirement plan and ensure retirement

        Lead the opportunity process, including active management and demonstration of tangible mitigation / achievement

          Increase diligence of review and assure quality deliverables into the RSAF customer

            Lead the PM team across UK and KSA, continuing the growth and development as appropriate

              Close supplier working relationships to ensure the successful delivery of the LTEWP programme

                Delivery of the EWCS and EWCSC projects

                  Lead the closure of the existing EWCS activities through to contract closure

                    Hold monthly programme reviews with key suppliers

                      Lead the delivery of all UK EWCSC activities

                      Your skills and qualifications:

                        APM Qualified or an equivalent PM Qualification

                          Previous Experience managing a complex programme

                            Experience using Microsoft Office toolsets including MS Project

                              Excellent stakeholder management skills

                                Defence sector experience is desirable.
