Role Purpose
  • To provide Transfer Pricing specialist support and risk stewardship oversight to Global Banking, Markets and Securities Services, and to a less extent the Commercial Banking, GTRF and GLCM businesses in the UK and Europe, to ensure that the business operates in a tax compliant and tax efficient manner and within risk appetite.
  • To ensure that the businesses’ transfer pricing policies, planning and compliance do not expose the Group to financial or reputational risks and are consistent with HSBC’s values.
  • To provide timely and accurate advice to the business on the transfer pricing implications of business changes, proposed transactions and new products.
  • To ensure the business is aware of transfer pricing developments and appropriate actions are taken to fulfill new and developing obligations.
  • A core requirement for the role will also be to support the wider cross line of business Transfer Pricing team in activities such as transfer pricing documentation, tax authority audits and assurance work.
