IM&T Analyst

Would you like to play a key role in the delivery of IM&T solutions? We currently have a vacancy for an IM&T Analyst at our site in Barrow-In-Furness.

As an IM&T Analyst, working in supplier security assurance you will be engaged in the business supplier lifecycle, undertaking business analysis, audit and assurance and compliance enforcement

As an IM&T analysis you will be liaising with customers and partners across the whole business as well as traveling to various sites across the UK. This is a great opportunity to get exposure across the business working with a variety of stakeholders and being able to influence the security aspects of all future submarine products.

Your main responsibilities as an IM&T Analyst will involve:

Facilitating Specialist Working Groups drawing subject matter expertise from the business and customer to develop and improve information security policies and guidance

Consulting with major programmes and IT projects to ensure they comply with information security policies

Monitoring of information security controls against policy to ensure their effective operation

Providing information security advice and guidance to colleagues and partners

Investigating contraventions of information security policies, providing recommendations on resolution and future preventative and improvement actions to the Head of Information Security

Communicating information security aspects to the business, partners and suppliers, and for the provision of authoritative security advice at all levels of the enterprise

Developing and maintaining appropriate Information Security Processes

Audit and assurance activities to enforce security compliance

Your skills and qualifications:

Essential:

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt these skills to different circumstances and to be able to apply these skills across of levels of the enterprise

Excellent analytical skills and the ability to take a systematic approach to analyse and investigate security issues and to develop solutions or improvements

Experience of the implementation or operation of security policies

Desirable:

CISM Certified Information Security Management

CISSP Certified Information System Security Professional

Maritime – Submarines

Our Submarines business has been safely delivering world class submarines to the UK Royal Navy for more than a century.

The Astute class will equip the Royal Navy with its largest and most capable generation of attack submarines. We are responsible for the design, build, test and commissioning of these state-of-the-art vessels. In total, seven boats will make up the fleet, each weighing a mighty 7,400 tonnes.
