Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: Up to £25,500 max per annum depending on experience

You will be responsible for providing operational first- and second-line IT Technical Security support to the organisation. You will log, troubleshoot and resolve incidents at the first point of contact when possible, or triaging incidents to an appropriate team/vendor.
You will be responsible for handling, logging and fulfilling requests within their remit, or passing requests to an appropriate team. On any given day, the department maybe subject to a threat and it will be the security analyst’s role to triage the response with our vendors and escalate the issue to management. Both incidents and requests should be handled within the agreed operational framework of policies and processes whilst minimising impact to the customer and providing an excellent level of customer service.
You will investigate security alerts, monitor for attacks, intrusions and unauthorised or illegal activity and provide incident response support. You will also monitor and respond to 'phishing' emails and 'pharming' activity, provide advice and guidance to staff on issues such as spam and unwanted or malicious emails, and monitor identity and access management, including monitoring for abuse of permissions by authorised system users.
You will have previous experience as an IT System Administrator supporting a variety of platforms – Windows, Intune, Office 365, Azure Threat Protection, Mimecast, Azure Sentinel etc.
You will have experience working with a Security Event and Incident Management platforms as well as experience analysing event and logs.
You will have a good knowledge of enterprise network and host security controls, experience providing great customer service and proven initiative in further growing knowledge in security space.
