Are you a digital marketing professional with a passion to help shape and implement a large-scale merchandising and direct marketing program?
Hotels.com, and Expedia Group company, is looking for a talented Senior Merchandiser to join its Customer Marketing team. . You will play a key role in developing integrated digital marketing campaigns that both delight our customers and provide strong results for the business. The Senior Merchandiser will sit in the Hotels.com CRM, Merchandising & Coupons team and will own the end to end merchandising activity from sourcing, display and distribution for our email and push channels (CRM) campaigns. This position reports directly to the Senior Manager, Global CRM.
What you’ll do:
1. Planning and sourcing
Work with the CRM Marketing lead in developing recommendations for CRM campaigns (based on the analysis of previous campaign performance, customer insights, competitor benchmarks, etc.)
Partner with the regional teams to understand key opportunities in Hotels.com’s focus markets
Partner closely with supply teams to ensure volume and quality of deals being sourced creates value adding proposition and is aligned to CRM channel objectives
2. Campaign management and measurement
Lead end-to-end merchandising execution for CRM campaigns, from planning to launch
Work with peers within the CRM marketing and Merchandising creative operations team to ensure effective choice of messaging and imagery on landing pages and other merchandising assets on site
Ensure supplier deals are loaded at required levels for CRM channel campaigns
Ensure a consistent merchandising message across all customer touchpoints
Lead campaign analysis and success reporting, to drive an agile response to changing customer demands and to optimise integration with email / push placements
Own landing page creatives for CRM campaign (coordinating execution with the Merchandising creative operations team to build the merchandising landing pages and assets)
Assist, when required, in extracting deals, producing merchandising landing pages for a range of promotional activities and ensure localisation are in place across various countries and languages
Provide quality assurance and ensure close attention to detail for all new pages / placements launched
Identify ways to optimise the current merchandising processes and tools used in the production process striving for constant improvement and return on efforts made
Who you are:
You’ll fit this role if you have:
Experience in online Merchandising or Marketing
Experience working with marketing agencies for creatives
Project management and ability to work independently
Strong partnership management skills (internal and externally)
Strong communicator both verbal and written
Strong analytical skills and Excel, Word, PowerPoint proficiency
Knowledge of html will be an advantage
Travel industry experience a plus
Excellent quality control and attention to detail
Team player with strong collaborative approach
Enthusiastic and positive attitude
