IT Cloud Support Engineer

Would you like to be responsible for day to day management of essential customer facing production, development and test IT Systems? We currently have a vacancy for an IT Cloud Support Engineer at our site in Broad Oak.

As an IT Cloud Support Engineer, you will be researching IT incidents and problems, gathering information from a range of physical and informational sources, reviewing IT defects in order to gain a complete understanding of the problem and all relevant circumstances. The successful candidate will deal with installs, commissions, fault finding, performance reviews and enhancement, and resolve common technical and operational problems across a range of cloud and on premise networks.

Your main responsibilities as an IT Cloud Support Engineer will involve:

Analysing problems related to IT Hosting Systems and assisting in generating proposed solutions

Conducting daily IT hosting routines and monitoring functions liaising with external authorities as required

Producing monthly Hosting statistics for management analysis

Updating IT Configuration records, problem responses, In-service data, plans and information systems such that all information is current

Liaising with key internal and external stakeholders

Implementing IT changes and server upgrades as directed

Maintaining up to date knowledge of current IT Security guidelines

Providing IT support to the DS as required

Your skills and qualifications:


Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate (or previous MTA/MCSA/MCSE qualifications that are equivalent)

Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (or previous MTA/MCSA/MCSE qualifications that are equivalent)



Cloud Service management

IT Network management

Virtualised Server Maintenance

IT Desktop management

IT Systems security awareness

MS Access development (reporting systems)

VMWare VCA (VMWare Certified Associate) Cloud or Virtualisation qualifications or CCNA (Cisco Certified Networking Associate) Routing & Switching
