Brief Description

The role of the Route Support Manageris to provide support and coordination to the Route team on business planning and reporting on business performance, programmes of work and improvement initiatives

Please note that this role is flexible in terms of location. It can be based anywhere within the Wales Route.

About the role (External)

As the Route Support Manager, you will:

    Organise and schedule delivery unit business reviews.

      Produce the consolidated Route periodic business report including progress of actions

        Prepare investment proposals and supporting business cases, then review and track responses and approval

          Manage the integrated risk management process. Maintain and update the Active Risk Manager Database.

            Work with the organisation on expenditure against volume delivery against forecast

              Work with the DU on planning levels and the reduction of non-productive time

              Skills and experience

                Knowledge of business planning, commercial and financial management processes and techniques.

                  Good analytical skills

                    Good interpersonal, influencing, communication and organisation skills
