Reference Data Strategy Program Manager - Executive Director

The Party Reference Data Utility and Reference Data Strategy (PRDS) is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and off-boarding party reference data, driving targeted data quality efforts, and defining the strategic data model structures and interactions with lines of business and corporate functions. PRDS is an operating center of excellence that enables multiple lines of business across J.P. Morgan Chase to leverage consistent, high-quality party reference data.

The Program Manager will support Party Reference Data in driving strategic business priorities and capability delivery. The function is responsible for coordinating the delivery of the Strategic Party & Account Model Transformation Program from solution through the lifecycle of business adoption, onboarding adoption, and functional/post trade. The objective of the program is to build and integrate a strategic party model capturing parties, roles, relationships and other linked reference data including accounts and documents. Plus, deliver onboarding and maintenance capabilities to support LOB and Corporate adoptions of the model. The Program Manager will coordinate with PRDS leaders and project managers to align the program’s planning/progress with strategic goals and deliver successful program outcomes Effective partnerships with program stakeholders and global program/project management areas across line of business and corporate functions areas are essential.

Primary responsibilities/job duties will include:

  • Ensuring planning, scope and key milestones align to the program’s strategic vision
  • Driving program deliverables with stakeholders across different teams and LOBs to ensure program is delivered on schedule, within budget and within scope
  • Coordinating across project teams to lead resolution of program-level issues/risks
  • Overseeing adherence to program governance structure
  • Senior Management status reporting/program-level communications, evaluating progress and quality, advising on program-level achievements and barriers
  • Driving results through leadership, people, communication and influence


  • Extensive Project/ Program Management experience in a combined business, operations and technology environment within the Financial Services industry
  • Experience with Reference Data preferred, across reference data domains in transformational enterprise initiatives
  • Proactive/self-starter with the ability to deliver value-added support to business partners in a dependable, timely and accurate manner
  • A proven ability to drive large-scale and complex initiatives and build partnerships
  • Advanced communication skills and the ability to synthesize work products into executive summaries and reports with distilled and succinct messaging
  • Results-oriented, flexible individual who can easily and efficiently transition across topics and disciplines. Adept at multi-tasking and meeting deadlines in high-pressure environment
  • Strong knowledge of Program Management applications including Microsoft-based applications, and Financials & Project Tracking tools
  • Bachelor’s degree required
