Shifts: Mon – Fri however Hatfield is a 24/7 operation so some flexibility may be required

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Stock/Inventory Availability Manager / Controller to join us here at Ocado Logistics on a 12month FTC based at our Hatfield Distribution Centre (AL10 9BD).

Leading a team of Area Managers (4), Deputy Area Managers (4) and Stock Availability Operators your role will be to coordinate & develop all aspects of stock availability and management within the site, which at full capacity can reach up to 181,000 orders per week, to ensure the team delivers outstanding service to our customers. Through monitoring the entirety of the operation you will be responsible for the full life cycle of every product that comes into the automated fulfilment centre ensuring exception health & safety and food safety standards.

Within the role, working closely with Operations Managers and other support teams to ensure the correct stock levels at all times and achieve site and operational targets. You’ll lead the inventory control and identify innovative ways in which to serve our customers and conduct our business, such as; stock issue investigations; data mining using SQL; working with internal supply chains functions to improve service levels and optimising flow within the automations.

In order to be up for this challenge you will need to be an experienced Stock Availability Manager / Controller, with experience in a comparable warehouse environment. You’ll preferably be qualified in IOSH Managing Safely and have a proven history of leading through your team to deliver results and exceptional customer service.
