The Worldwide Business Unit Global Markets & Technologies (GM&T) open new business frontiers for the Air Liquide Group with a strong expertise in cutting-edge technologies and inspired by disruptive mindsets. Our Purpose is to develop, shape and incubate significant new markets, sustainable for Air Liquide and for the Society. With more than 900 employees, the several facilities located in Grenoble area gather together more than half of GM&T resources within three entities : advanced Technologies, Biomethane and Industrial solutions.

In the context of the energy transition, Biogas Solutions Europe business has seen double-digit growth for several years in Europe. This business includes the technologies and solutions that we offer throughout the value chain, from the production of biomethane using our proprietary membrane and Turbo-Brayton technologies, to its ultimate use(in transportation, industry, or for the production of low-carbon hydrogen).

Our European business is currently focused on France, the United Kingdom, Scandinavia (Sweden and Norway), and Italy. Our growth is driven by the opening of several biomethane production plants and by strong demand from industry and the transportation sector. And finally, as we have developed our solutions across the biomethane value chain, various projects have emerged as examples of a local circular economy.

Missions & Responsabilités

Joining us, you will be part an agile and structuring organization which is growing in a energy transition business.

You are responsible for the performance of field operations & maintenance duties for several assets/facilities or plants based in North England. You will act as a technical and local point of contact with gas suppliers and/or customers. You will follows and enforce the Security procedures within the framework of regulatory requirements, group (IMS) and Air Liquide Biogas Solutions in United Kingdom, and ensures, with the help and monitoring of competent people, the maintenance in good general condition of the installations.

Profil et compétences

Graduated at Bachelor’s Degree (Mechanical or Electrical or Process Eng).

You have worked at least in Operations or Field Engineering for 3 years

Your English is fluent

You are recognized for different capabilities and strengths such as :

  • Good communication skills - multicultural environment
