Brief Description

We're seeking a Project Manager (Change) to support and manage the transition of, initially the controlling minds possession management function into the Route Access Planning team, with a specific construction and DWWP focus to ensure the Anglia plan can be more effectively and efficiently delivered, and thereafter manage change projects safely, to time and to budget.

About the role (External)

Day to day, you can expect to be involved in:

    Supporting the Access Planning Team in the process of ensuring delivery teams have an adequate initial plan to demonstrate their access requirements

      Supporting the Access Planning Team in the process of reviewing delivery teams plans to assess compliance with the DWWP process

        Supporting the Access Planning Team in the process of delivery teams engineering haulage plan reviews to ensure they are adequate and support the planned work

          Supporting the Access Planning Team in the process of integrating and deconflicting rail possessions and the works planned for execution within those possessions

            Supporting the Access Planning Team in the process of the review of deliverers construction plans as they progress to assess and ensure readiness, deconfliction and opportunities to optimise the works and avoid over runs

            We're looking for someone who can demonstrate the following:

              Experience of developing and negotiating the EAS, Engineering Access Statement

                Extensive experience in delivering rail infrastructure construction via renewals, enhancements and maintenance

                  An understanding of the Anglia rail network to support the development of the EAS possession plan

                    Experience of the organisation and capability of engineering train resourcing and planning

                      Significant experience of working in compliance with the DWWP process.

                        Ability to coach and mentor teams to deliver change and moreover improvement in team effectiveness and efficiency

                        Whilst it's not essential, we'd love it if you are:

                        • Educated to degree level

                        • A member of a professional institution, or project association

                        • Knowledge of the principles of investment processes and procedures.
