Brief Description

We're seeking a Project Manager to lead the development and delivery of Route Access Planning change projects to agreed scope, time, cost and quality requirements, working with Function Directors, Executive Sponsors and their representatives. This forms part of the Controlling Minds programme. Initially Access Change system implementation and SharePoint system introduction and embedment.

About the role (External)

Day to day, you can expect to be involved in:

    Supporting the Access Planning Team to transition to using a new Access Change IT platform, acting as the subject matter expert for the Access Planning team

      Supporting the Access Planning Team to transition to using the Sharepoint collaborative platform by being the subject matter expert for the Access Planning team

        Supporting the Access Planning Team in delivering business critical change programmes

        We're looking for someone who can demonstrate the following:

          An understanding of the process of developing and negotiating Engineering Access Statements

            An understanding of delivering rail infrastructure renewals, enhancements and maintenance

              An understanding of the Anglia rail network

                Experience of the organisation and capability of engineering train resourcing and planning

                  Ability to coach and mentor teams to deliver change and moreover improvement in team effectiveness and efficiency

                    Experience of delivering IT change management.

                    Whilst it's not essential, we'd love it if you are:

                    • Educated to degree level

                    • A member of a professional institution, or project association

                    • Knowledge of the principles of investment processes and procedures.
