The aim of the newly created Capital Delivery Centre of Excellence is to continuously improve the way Network Rail plans and delivers investment projects and provide confidence that benefits and outcomes will be delivered for passengers and freight.
The role will work within the newly formed Network Rail Capital Delivery Centre of Excellence, reporting into Head of Sponsorship as part of the Network Rail's Sponsorship Support team who lead the national companywide profession (matrix management) and external organisations in the development and implementation of consistent good practice standards and methodology.
This role is key part of the Sponsorship profession support for the development, implementation and ongoing management of a Network Rail governance and assurance framework. It entails stakeholder engagement across a number of functions and with senior management, as well as requiring extensive organisational skills.

Network Rail adheres to a structured pay framework, any salary offered will be within the following pay range: £42,971 - £48,342
As an arm's length department of the UK Government, Network Rail is required to comply with a well-established pre-employment vetting process for all prospective employees.
Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) checks require prospective employees of Network Rail to meet the following requirements;
§Provide eligibility to work in the UK and identity documentation
§Complete a satisfactory 3 year employment history check
§Complete a satisfactory unspent criminal conviction disclosure check
