DDT risk manage JPMs collateralized derivative funding exposures primarily through the use of Interest Rate products such as IRS, Xcy basis, OIS basis, and FX.DDT also structure and execute large scale portfolio optimization trades across the Bank’s derivatives portfolio.Given DDTs centralised position within the Firm, the desk often play an important role in many Firm-wide initiatives from strategy setting through to implementation.As an entry level position, the role will allow the successful candidate to gain experience in many of these areas with a focus towards the structuring and Infrastructure management of the desk/business.

Core Job Responsibilities:

  • This is an entry level Front Office role.Although not a classic trading role, the individual will, following significant training, be required to make economic and risk decisions for the Desk including some deal execution
  • CSA amend/new approvals/restructures
  • Provide pricing adjustments to other markets businesses
  • Facilitation of the Global Markets franchise.The individual will work with Marketing and Trading teams to structure and price large SVA/collateral intensive packages
  • The individual will facilitate and participate in client meetings as required by the franchise
  • Project Management: Management of a range of projects, working with a number of internal stakeholders across Sales, Trading, Operations, Technology, Treasury and Business Management
  • Production and maintenance of daily desk governance
  • Desk Infrastructure management
  • Management and publication of wider Desk Metrics
  • The individual will be expected to keep up to date with current and future Regulatory changes with a view to identifying future business opportunities

Qualifications required:

  • Good quantitative skills, to degree level in a related discipline

  • This is an entry level role, no experience is necessary although 1-2yrs of experience within a Front Office environment or Investment Banking internship will be considered

  • Ambitious self-starter, able to perform in team environment

  • Ability to make sound decisions within time and or information constraints

  • Interest in global financial markets and an understanding of Rates derivative products

  • Strong communication & organization skills

  • Must be highly motivated, be an independent thinker and intellectually curious

  • Ability to network across different lines of businesses

  • Effective partnership and collaboration is key for success in this role

  • Able to demonstrate drive and a track record of results delivery

  • FCA/FINRA (Series 7) approved preferred

  • Strong work ethic essential
