Description of Business Area:

The Client Tax Operations Utility serves clients and business partners across the Corporate Investment Bank (CIB), Commercial Bank (CB) and Community Consumer Bank (CCB). Within the utility, the Strategic Technical Transformation team is a Global Delivery team specializing in the management of transformational and product development programs across the tax space. The team is organized across 3 disciplines – Strategic Integration, Intelligent Automation and Digitization. The current team make-up provides a unique mix of analysis, project management skills, product thought leadership and consulting services enabling it to provide a consistent, high-quality and responsive approach to the way we analyze opportunities for efficiency, consolidation, expansion of services and revenue generation.

The Role:

The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative atmosphere. They will have the capabilities to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. They will be able to manage the required book of work and senior stakeholder relationships as well as those relationships necessary in the Product, Operations and Technology areas.

The Program in which the candidate will be initially responsible for is a multi-year and multi-business engagement focused on transforming the client reference data platforms and operational processing models which drive the strategic functional areas across the Utility. The role will allow exposure to (but is not limited to) various functions and businesses such as Security Services which includes Custody, Fund Accounting and Securities Lending.

Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

  • Managing the project lifecycle, governance, communication and delivery of programs

  • Becoming familiar with key tax regulatory requirements and their impact on global teams across the firm.

  • Managing communication to stakeholders and senior managers as it relates to the programs through presentations in various communication mediums and forums.

  • Applying a commercial mindset to deliver efficiently and consistently across groups.

  • Innovating solutions that improve client experience and reduce costs to the firm

  • Providing input into the annual plan process ensuring relevant budget requests are incorporated.

  • Providing leadership across multiple teams and lines of business for resources involved in program delivery
