Governance & Project Controls Manager
Would you like to be part of the team that is delivering maintenance and capability updates to the Queen Elizabeth Class Naval Ships? We currently have a vacancy for a Governance & Project Controls Manager at our site in Portsmouth.
As a Governance & Project Controls Manager, you will be responsible for the overall governance and project controls reporting of the class, interfacing with MOD and industry financial and project controls stakeholders where required. You will lead the QEC COM (Class Output Management) Project Controls Team in order to support the Head of QEC COM and Technical Control Account Managers in managing the cost control and reporting for the QEC COM areas of responsibility.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to build a knowledge of warship support delivery that is applicable across different classes of ship and be part of a dynamic environment that is looking to shape and improve future ways of working. Providing opportunity to diversify within the wider business over time.
Your main responsibilities as a Governance & Project Controls Manager will involve:

Your skills and qualifications:
Financial and commercial awareness
In-depth understanding and experience of using and tailoring Project Management theory and practice.
