Brief Description

Assist in the monitoring and reporting on operational performance, reliability, productivity and efficiency.

About the role (External)

Key Accountabilities -

1.Assist in Benchmarking operational performance, reliability, productivity, and efficiency and identify areas for improvement.

2.Identify best practice in the management of operational performance, reliability, productivity, and efficiency

3.Undertake analysis to determine trends and root causes.

4.Investigate and report on performance related failures and recommend corrective action.

5.Investigate and report on productivity and efficiency loses and recommend corrective action.

6.Assist in the implementation of operational/asset performance, reliability, productivity, and efficiency Improvement initiatives.


    Knowledge of operational reliability analysis techniques - or demonstrable elsewhere

      Knowledge of operational reliability improvement techniques - or demonstrable elsewhere

        Good analytical skills

          Good interpersonal, communication and organisation skills


            Knowledge of operational performance processes and techniques

              Knowledge of failure/incident investigation management and recording

                Good knowledge of operational railway environment
