You will be part of the NW&C Region which consist of three routes:
- North West Route, covering Manchester, Liverpool, Lancashire and Cumbria.
- Central Route, covering the West Midlands and Chiltern areas.
- West Coast Mainline South Route*, covering the West Coast main line south of Crewe to London Euston.

A great opportunity has arisen to join the Works Delivery Off-Track team who are pivotal in providing a safe and dependable railway whilst protecting and enhancing the natural environment.
Let there be no doubt that maintaining the rail network is a huge job. Our Works Delivery Team is up to the challenge and we do it with pride.Across everything from Vegetation Management, Fencing installation to Level Crossing renewals, we keep the network and its assets working safely and reliably.
We are a newly established team with a passion for innovation within our own specialist sector whilst driving Networks Rails vision for a safer working environment.
Combining exceptional organisational skills and a winning way with people, you'll produce all kinds of detailed plans. You'll help to ensure a section of the network benefits from efficient and effective works.
About the role (External)
You'll be responsible for developing detailed, fully resourced work plans for an Infrastructure Maintenance team. You'll also provide accurate and effective general administrative support to the Section Manager and his people. We'll look to you to optimise all agreed work activities for a Section. Put simply, you'll produce plans that help us do the best job possible with the teams and times available.
It's a varied role that will see you producing everything from Safe System of Work plans through to draft quarterly plans. In addition, you'll set up and maintain a range of systems, databases and records. What's more, you'll personally manage weekly Plan-Do-Review meetings.
