The key purpose of the role will be to deliver passenger and freight Schedule 4 compensation calculations and forecasts, working closely with the Compensation Analyst within the compensation team in Access Planning.
About the role (External)
1.Produce nominated Schedule 4 statements (passenger & freight) and period end billing on time and to a high level of content accuracy.
2.Administrate the S4CS system and associated data quality for relevant contracts.
3.Assist in managing effective relationships with customers and stakeholders.
4.Produce and maintain timely and accurate Schedule 4 forecasts and estimates for relevant contracts.
5.Assist in the identification and implementation of quality and efficiency improvement initiatives.
Skills and experience
- Educated to GCSE Maths or equivalent
- Good communication skills, both written and spoken
- Able to work under pressure and to deadlines and manage own workload
- Able to work to a high degree of accuracy
- Good customer service skills
- Previous experience working in a financial/accounts role
- Previous experience working with contractual/compensation agreements
- Knowledge of relevant railway geography and terminology
- Basic understanding of railway engineering activities
