To help ensure the delivery of some of its core operating processes, supporting the development and delivery of improvements to them and provide the core ability to improve the success of the business? We currently have a vacancy for an ERP Solution Factory Tester at our site in Warton.

As an ERP Solution Factory Tester, you will be delivering the definition, planning, execution and assessment of the tests that determine whether the fixes and changes being implemented to the Air ERP system are ready for release to the wider population of system users across the BAE Systems Air sector.

Once established as a Tester this role will provide you with opportunities to apply the capabilities developed within the Air ERP programme to advance testing capabilities within the wider BAE Systems business.

Your main responsibilities as an Air Solution Factory ERP Tester will involve:

Working with the solution architects, the software and hardware developers, experts and end users from across the Air functions to define test scripts that represent how the system will be used day to day.

Implementing the test scripts and documenting the test results

Adhering to the test plan and schedule for the given release

Agreeing the test scope and content with the Air ERP Solution Factory Test Manager

Execution and maintenance of the automated test regression pack executed within the TOSCA toolset

Working within a team to ensure all test activities are conducted within the agreed timescales

Your skills and qualifications:

Experience as a Tester or Test planning within an IT Solution Environment

Experience working within a test team Environment

Project Management Experience and Knowledge
ERP experience (desirable)

You should have good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels and prioritise to meet key deadlines. You must also have strong written and verbal communication skills.
