Would you like to have direct impact into the wider success of the Air business and its operating processes, supporting the development and delivery of improvements to them and provide the core ability to improve the success of the business? Would you like to play a key role in delivering Core pieces of software / systems crucial to the underpinning success of the Air Business? We currently have a vacancy for a Solution Factory Project Manager at our site in Warton.

As a Solution Factory Project Manager, you will be helping define, manage and orchestrate the activities associated with the process of designing, developing and testing changes and fixes to the Air ERP solution. This might mean changes to the software elements of the solution or changes to hardware, business processes and data, access rules and controls, training material or the way the Air ERP integrates into the wider Air IM&T architecture. At present Air ERP works on a weekly release cycle with changes being developed, tested and then promoted to production on a weekly basis requiring you as a Project Manager to be able to manage short sharp, delivery programmes for emergent fixes alongside the longer term programmes associated with development of major enhancements.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to manage the activities associated with delivering the production releases / changes.

Your main responsibilities as a Solution Factory Project Manager will involve:

Producing a plan and schedule for all production releases

Reporting progress against the produced plan for each release

Ensuring that each production release meets all the release entry criteria

Managing and addressing issues as they arise

Experience delivering against the Project Plan

Project Management experience

Desirable skills

Experience working within a software development or Test Team

You will have experience in dealing with conflict resolution, we are looking for an individual that has strong communication skills. You will be able to work with the team to complete the end goal. This role will involve strong stakeholder management and the successful individual will need to build relationships with not only your team but with the wider business and wider stakeholders within the business.
