HR Business Partner (Job Share Opportunity)
Would you like to be part of the Head Office business, building relationships with senior stakeholders across the Group functions, coaching on and accelerating Company and individual performance? We currently have a vacancy for a HR Business Partner at our site in Farnborough.The role is to be hired as a job share, working part time, Wednesday through to Friday.
Reporting to the Head of HR Head Office you will be supporting the development and delivery of the People Plan. You will be working as a trusted advisor to functional heads to contribute to the development and execution of their enterprise strategy and associated plans.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to see the breadth of the BAE Systems business, working at a global and UK level across multiple functions.
Your main responsibilities as HR Business Partner will involve:
Contributing to the development and implementation of the People & Organisation strategy
Acting as the Business Partner for Group functions, ensuring that the HR objectives are aligned with the functional strategic objectives
Supporting implementation of HR projects and initiatives sponsored by the Global HRLT under direction of the HRD Head Office
Being accountable for all aspects of HR delivery and processes, ensuring they accelerate performance: including resourcing and talent, reward and the provision of specialist advice, managing the contribution and performance of experts and third party support as required
Working collaboratively with the HR Shared Services team, Recruiting Partner and our Centres of Expertise to ensure a business focused high quality service
Ensuring that the appropriate HR governance and assurance is in place, in line with HR Policy and the Operational Framework
Your skills and qualifications as a HR Business Partner
Clear track record of successfully operating in an HR business partnering role within a PLC environment /complex business environment
Adaptive style with a depth of experience in all traditional core HR skills and capabilities including organisational design and development, talent management and strategic workforce planning
