The Role

To support the Depot Manager and oversee the safe operation of the Depot Warehouse and Transport Operations to ensure the customer requirements are met, efficient management of resources to maintain a high level of customer service. In addition, provide leadership, training and supervision to the Depot team to maintain and improve the safe operation and performance of the Depot.

Key Responsibilities

Effectively and proactively support the depot manager to ensure that accurate and prompt deliveries can be made to the internal and external customer
Accurately and proactively plan your teams' work to achieve the overall department and company objectives informing the Head of Operations of shortfalls in personnel or equipment in a timely manner
Carry out performance management and quality control audits to assess the capability of team members in ensuring that processes & procedures are accurately followed
Identify under-performing colleagues/areas and proactively address them to achieve company targets
To encourage and support team development and measure performance against KPIs
Responsible for maintaining NPS scores through the delivery teams, and to offer support and coaching when needed
