This exciting role is responsible for the running of all of our End-user Brand
Campaigns for Consumer PC, Tablet, and Gaming devices, as well as managing our
co-marketing with selected UK & Irish retailers.

The role will include:

End-User Brand Campaigns

  • Understand business objectives and KPIs
  • Identify, agree, understand, and profile, target audiences and personas.
Brief relevant teams and agencies.
  • Define requirements, and produce (via external agencies) localised campaign
creative and retailer assets where necessary
  • Build ATL media plan briefs with Media agency
  • Manage the campaign execution, tracking, communication, management reporting,
and delivery against KPIs
  • Manage relevant agencies and suppliers
  • Own end to end campaign budget management and purchase orders
  • Manage any relevant alliance-partner funding invested, and the approval,
claim and PoE process.
  • Work closely with Sales and Product Management teams to ensure cross-business
alignment and awareness on the campaigns
  • Provide retailer-facing communications on key campaigns to drive buy-in

Retailer Co-Marketing (applies to a defined subset of retailers)

  • Engage with the marketing and buying teams of nominated retailers to build
quarterly co-marketing, MDF, and communication plans, aligned with business
objectives and KPIs
  • Drive excellence in how our products are represented with the retailers,
including A+ content, best-in-class imagery, features and benefits, copy, and
visual merchandising.
  • Translate business strategy and account strategy into marketing plans for the
retailers
  • Amplify Lenovo-owned brand and end-user campaigns through the retailers
  • Manage and own retailer co-marketing/MDF budgets and spend
  • Work closely with retailer Account Manager to ensure delivery against sales &
strategic account targets, and input into the strategic account plan.
  • Manage the co-marketing execution, tracking, communication, management
reporting, and delivery against KPIs
  • Manage any relevant alliance-partner funding invested, and the approval,
claim and PoE process.

As an important member of the marketing team, this role will also play a key
part in inputting into the overall Consumer strategy, and will have the chance
to work on other exciting marketing projects.

Position Requirements:

A Minimum of 5-7 years marketing/communications or category/product marketing
experience is required, preferably with a PC background (or at least
technology), either from a vendor, retailer or component brand.

  • Degree level or equivalent education in a marketing, or business discipline
  • Demonstrates a good comprehension of the Consumer and retail/etail market
  • PC or Technology background
  • Excellent understanding of ATL media landscape, advertising formats and
trends
  • Financial acumen and demonstrable budget management skills
  • Strong commitment attitude
  • Comfortable in front of customers, business partners, agencies and management
  • Self-motivated and a pro-active mentality
  • Energetic, implementation-driven and “can do” attitude
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills: able to present
ideas/strategies/products in a clear, concise, and convincing manner.
  • Strong team working skills, but equally comfortable working individually.
  • Good networking skills; facility in communicating across the company matrix
  • Strong influencer: able to convince a sales team or retailer
  • Strong negotiation skills, able to handle tough discussions

Desirable attributes;

  • Knowledge of the alliance funding process of Intel, AMD, Microsoft and others
extremely advantageous
  • Deep understanding of retailer PC business, processes, and ways of working
  • Experience of managing events or live experiential
  • Some exposure to people management, or coaching experience

This role is office based (Chineham near Basingstoke, Hampshire) and frequent
UK-wide travel will be required (visiting retailers, partners or agencies),
and occasional international travel.

Candidate must have full driving licence.
