The Drainage and Off Track Team will be split into discipline specific roles. On application you will be considered for both:

Senior Asset Engineer - Lineside

Senior Asset Engineer - Drainage

If you are successful at the sifting stage your preferences will be discussed at interview stage.

About the role (External)

It is imperative you have…

    Incorporated Engineer

      Degree in a relevant subject or equivalent

        Membership of relevant professional institution

          Substantial experience of railway civil engineering, with proven abilities in Drainage & Off Track asset maintenance and renewals

            A sound knowledge of Drainage & Off Track engineering policies and standards

              An understanding of safety management systems and risk assessment techniques

                Experience in Construction Design and Management Regulations

                It is advantageous if you have…

                  Chartered Engineer or equivalent Drainage & Off Track qualification

                  We adhere to a structured pay framework, any salary offered will be within the following pay range: starting at £51,156 per annum and increasing to £57,551 per annum

                  Network Rail is required to comply with UK Government standards when carrying out pre-employment checks for all new starters; this includes a basic criminal record check. In addition to the basic criminal record check, in accordance with the UK Government we are also required to verify your identity, right to work in the UK and previous three years employment history.

                  Salary: £51,156 - £57,551
