CCBSI is a line of business within the Commercial Bank, focusing on global companies with revenues in excess of $500 million requiring both traditional banking services and investment banking products. To best address our clients’ needs, CCBSI’s mature, US headquartered business is organised primarily by geographic region as well as select industry-focused teams. Leveraging JP Morgan’s global platform and capabilities, CCBSI recently expanded coverage to serve companies headquartered in select countries within the EMEA, APAC and LatAm regions.
With the recent expansion, the CCBSI F&BM team is looking to build out the F&BM support model internationally. This successful candidate will join the expanding team and have the opportunity to establish and recruit a global P&A function in support of this expansion.
Responsibilities for this role will include analyzing and reporting, budgeting and strategic planning. The candidate will work closely with various members of the F&BM team including, but not limited to, the CCBSI sub-LOB finance leads, product CFOs, Business Managers and Controllers s.   • Support CCBSI P&A team and London based CFO with strategic planning, financial reporting and analysis
    • Assist with month-end close process by coordinating with Controllers team and CFO. Analyze results, identify key drivers, and prepare CCBSII monthly Executive Management Report
    • CCBSII credit product reporting and analysis, including budgeting and forecasting
      • Prepare monthly loan walk forward and perform loan spread analysis
      • Monitor significant underwriting transactions, understand financial impact and coordinate with Treasury and CB P&A team to adjust the forecast accordingly
    • Responsible for CCBSII Treasury Services (TS) reporting and analysis with in depth understanding of product and liquidity performance
    • Perform capital efficiency and client level SVA analyses, including understanding various levels of capitals and their impact to client profitability model
    • Expense and Headcount: assist with managing overall aspect of expenses, headcount and investment spend reporting and analysis, including real estate strategy
    • Assist P&A lead with senior management reporting in addition to various ad hoc projects and presentations


  • Strong analytical and research skills with a track record of execution against deliverables
  • Prior experience preferred in P&A/finance focused on capital markets, credit, and expenses
  • Demonstrate leadership and ability to influence change
  • A keen business acumen and an ability to tell the compelling story from the data
  • Creative self-starter with strong initiative and ability to take ownership and work independently as well as contribute to the broader team
  • Strong work ethic, professional maturity, personal integrity
  • Highly organised and be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and pay attention to details
  • Strong judgment, fact based, and has the courage to ask the tough questions and challenge the status quo
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. Advanced degree or certification desired
  • 6-8 years of relevant Finance experience (required)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Point, PitchPro and Hyperion Essbase
