The team provide the region with a high-quality professional service maximising the returns and efficiencies from a diverse portfolio of assets as well as ensuring the safe operation and improvement of the railway by acquiring access rights and land.
Property is key to deliver Network Rail's ambitions for the railway: "to provide a safe, reliable and efficient railway fit for the 21st century". Our extensive & diverse portfolio includes prime retail units, freight sites, business space, offices & depots. The property team provide a range of professional services including, Town Planning, Compulsory Purchase, Land Strategy, Development, Landlord & Tenant, Acquisitions & Disposals.
As a Senior Surveyor your role is to lead a team to create and implement effective and efficient Estates Strategies to support operational delivery. Effective property review and liaison at a senior level to assess the current and future requirements is fundamental, together with a track record of rationalisation and restructuring to maximise efficiency and operational benefit.
The role will be based in Stratford with travel throughout the Region.

Network Rail adheres to a structured pay framework, any salary offered will be within the following pay range: £51,156 - £57,551

Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) checks require prospective employees of Network Rail to meet the following requirements;
§Provide eligibility to work in the UK and identity documentation
§Complete a satisfactory 3 year employment history check
§Complete a satisfactory unspent criminal conviction disclosure check
