Inventory Support Specialist

Would you like an exciting and varied role working alongside the MoD? We currently have a vacancy for an Inventory Support Specialist at our site in RAF Waddington.

As an Inventory Support Specialist, you will be responsible for the inventory control of Tactical Data Link terminals and other equipment, working towards strict Key Performance Indicators.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to work onsite with our customer and the opportunity to receive extensive training.

Your main responsibilities as an Inventory Support Specialist will involve:

  • Managing controlled items through the MoD Inventory systems to ensure demands are raised and satisfied to meet the KPI’s
  • Supporting the Availability Manager in the provision of Supply Chain Management advice to the Tactical Data Link (TDL) Support Authority based at RAF Waddington
  • Raising and processing of demands utilising the TDL contract Demand Performance process.
  • Maintaining an Asset Tracking Database detailing stock status
  • Ensuring assets are returned conforming to export and import requirements
Your skills and qualifications:
  • Supply chain or Inventory control experience
  • Strong Microsoft office skills
  • Basic asset management experience
  • Familiarisation with MOD Inventory Management Systems would be an advantage
  • Experience within Defence or MoD is desirable
