The Azure Global Customer Engineering (AGCE) team has a mission to improve the Azure platform by working hands-on with customers to deeply understand and improve their end-to-end solutions built on Azure. We are looking for an experienced, customer-focused, technical Program Manager with hands-on experience building Azure solutions. In this role, you'll work closely with some of Microsoft's largest and most strategic customers to help them identify, define, and architect solutions on Azure. You'll leverage a combination of business and technical skills to build strategic relationship with these key customers and become their go-to person and advisor in Azure solutions space. You'll also work with engineers, data scientists, and business partners across Microsoft to define scenarios and metrics, design optimal technical solutions, and ensure the solutions are delivered to market successfully.
- Effectively define and drive strategic business goals with customers or partners.
- Demonstrate expertise in existing Azure services and quickly ramp up on new service offerings and OSS components.
- Communicate effectively and influence business and technical decision makers.
- 5+ years software engineering or technical program management experience.
- Hands-on Azure experience.
- BS degree or higher in computer science or related field.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
