We're hiring across all areas, especially in our Zendesk Sell Sales team, and so we need to expand our Pre-sales team to keep up!

What will you do?

In this role, you’ll cover accounts in the Americas; working with your aligned Account Execs on our Zendesk Sell opportunities.

As a Senior Solutions Consultant, your mission is to ensure product selection. You’ll be responsible for all technical, solution, and competitive aspects of the Zendesk sales cycle. You must be both sales focused and technically savvy. You'll already be successful selling to organisations and convincing C-level and director level executives of the technical merits of the software solution.

Working in conjunction with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, you’ll be the technical bridge between our Account Executives and their prospects. This will involve you taking ownership of the prime technical relationship with our prospects to drive customer satisfaction by proactively managing and delivering technical information to our customers both onsite, online, and over the phone.

Requirements -

5+ years of SMB/Mid Market software selling experience.

Experience mapping RFI/RFP requirements to software solutions.

Good interpersonal, communication, persuasion, presentation and writing skills.

Experience scoping, running and executing customer pilots and Proof of Concepts.

Knowledge in web / scripting technologies, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and SaaS applications.

Extraordinary analytical skills, including the ability to meet a business requirement with a technical solution.

You will be working with the Solutions Architect team to explain the working and technical feasibility of the solution

Superior solution scoping abilities, using our existing solution and influencing new product development.

You will be willing to work in a dynamic startup environment with multiple roles.

Bachelor’s degree preferred; graduate degree is a plus.

Up to 30% travel.

Desired Skills -

You ideally will have previous consulting experience implementing enterprise class software solutions.

In-depth knowledge of Sales Software and Sales Process, ITSM, data warehousing, business intelligence.

Experience in performing upfront discovery of technical requirements during the sales cycle

Experience in dealing with Sales Leadership, CIOs and Technical partners

Providing feedback to the Marketing and Product teams in regards to the Customer expectations and requests from the software applications
