We are currently looking to recruit a Corporate Banking Analyst to support the coverage of high growth Technology clients based in EMEA. The Analyst will work with Senior Bankers in the Technology coverage vertical, assisting them with the development and maintenance of client relationships (business intelligence, marketing and execution). The Analyst will be based in London but works closely with country and product teams across EMEA, North America, APAC and LATAM.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of pitch books and other marketing materials

  • Support with answering RFPs

  • Conduct industry and company research and help with credit analysis

  • Prepare internal memos, relationship reviews, account plans, client portfolios, pipeline reporting

  • Develop strong partnerships across lines of business

Qualifications / Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or similar with outstanding academic credentials (preferably in Finance)
  • Good understanding of the European/Global Technology Industry
  • Good understanding of credit (IG and HY) and financing products

  • Strong computer skills including Excel based modelling, PowerPoint, FactSet and Bloomberg
  • Commercial mind-set and ability to work under pressure
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and writing skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong partnership skills and a team player
  • Licensure: Securities, Derivatives and Regs

European language skills (eg German, French, Spanish, Swedish) will be an advantage

This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
