About the role (External)
You will implement the property strategy required to support the delivery of major railway enhancement projects in N W & C Route and work closely with the project teams.
In the role you will deliver a range of complex professional property services including acquisitions and disposals and will have a good general understanding of the CPO, TWAO and DCO process.
To make a difference you will develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal colleagues, consultants and external bodies to ensure an efficient and effective delivery of the client remit.
You will actively support the development and implementation of a safe working environment through safety leadership, cultural change programmes and a safe rail system.
Your role will Increase Property's contribution to the cost of the company's rail operations by managing a property service that delivers business objectives to maximum efficiency taking account of cost savings, income generation, asset management and customer service.
The role will be based in Manchester with regular meetings in other locations as required by projects.

Network Rail adheres to a structured pay framework, any salary offered will be within the following pay range: £51,156 - £57,551
As an arm's length department of the UK Government, Network Rail is required to comply with a well-established pre-employment vetting process for all prospective employees.
Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) checks require prospective employees of Network Rail to meet the following requirements;
§Provide eligibility to work in the UK and identity documentation
§Complete a satisfactory 3 year employment history check
§Complete a satisfactory unspent criminal conviction disclosure check
