Digital Markets Sales is the area within DPS which owns the digital distribution transformation agenda for the global sales organization across asset classes. The focus is on delivery of technology solutions to improve sales workflow efficiency and surface client and market intelligence in order to drive revenue growth for the organization.
The Digital Markets Sales Product Manager will partner with sales people and LOB-aligned product managers to understand their end-to-end workflows, identify opportunities for digitization, and define solutions which may span both technology deliveries and process re-engineering. He/she will work closely with Engineering and UX to design and plan the delivery and drive the solutions through the software development lifecycle (SDLC.) The position requires significant in-person meeting time with sales in a trading floor environment. The CIB sales user base is roughly 2,000 staff globally. Document existing workflows, analyze existing capabilities and identify priority gaps and opportunities.
Prioritize needs and investments based upon sales and relationship insight, competitive positioning and industry research.
Drive forward product strategy; the candidate will need to articulate strategy into presentations, and assist senior technology management in promoting the organization’s strategy with the sales business.
Execute the digital roadmap for sales globally. Partner with Sales staff and Technology to prioritize deliverables.
Product-manage toolsets for Sales throughout SDLC; collect user requirements, work closely with UX (user experience) on design, provide guidance to development team, and drive user adoption.
Produce requirements documents that translate business requirements into functional specifications for technology teams.
- Promote digital solutions and drive measurable adoption.
Become a liaison between the sales organization and multiple technology teams responsible for delivery.
Represent technology in front of Sales staff; help Sales navigate through different technology units as needed.
Represent business in front of technology teams; articulate business use cases on behalf of Sales staff, navigate through legal, compliance, data usage, business management as needed.
Collaborate across the sales product management team to identify opportunities for shared solutions across asset classes.
Manage the priorities, deliverables, and Sales buy-in and adoption including leading stakeholder management and communication efforts.
Candidates must have prior experience working with Sales & Trading organizations and developing technology solutions for the front office. Experience in the financial markets, structured problem-solving abilities with a superior academic record is required.
The successful candidate should also possess the following attributes:
Must have an understanding of the concepts and industry direction for institutional sales.
Excellent quantitative and analytical problem solving skills – as well as written and verbal communication.
Capability of dealing with large data sets and developing dashboards (Tableau/Qlik) to solve real-world business use cases.
Strong presentation-building skills and ability to translate complex business problems and solutions into easily consumable content.
Strong work ethic, self-starter who is creative with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
Ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously and independently, while maintaining a high degree of communication and escalation at appropriate junctures.
Team player comfortable working in a fast-paced consulting-style, unstructured environment.

Professional maturity, personal integrity, and excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to influence and drive delivery across virtual teams outside of the direct reporting line.
- Ability to receive and act upon feedback.
Ability to work within high-pressured trading floor and interacting with sales & trading is a must.
- Experience working in Markets / Platform Sales is preferred.
High-level of proficiency in MS-Office products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio)
