Microsoft’s Finance Rotation Program (FRP) is a tremendous opportunity for new graduates to develop expertise in a wide range of areas, including profit-and-loss management, identification and improvement of organizational risk, business strategy and decision support, and the analysis of various business drivers to achieve results. Over the course of two years, FRP analysts will rotate through four, six-month rotations that enable them to build strong financial acumen and core business skills. Throughout your time as an FRP analyst, you'll learn, be stretched, and grow at an incredible pace to help develop you into a data-driven and strategic finance leader.

First-year rotations – split between one of our regional sales and marketing headquarters and the internal audit corporate function – will focus on foundational learning, including business processes, risk assessment, and learning about Microsoft as a corporation.
You will build on these skills in year two – split between one of our product/engineering finance teams and one of our sales and marketing subsidiaries – focusing on exploratory learning, including advanced business modeling, analysis and influence, and decision support.
Upon completion of the four rotations, analysts will have accelerated their professional growth, developed a very strong network across the company, and be set up for success in moving to a more permanent role within the finance organization
- A bachelor’s or master’s in in finance, accounting, business or related fields (within 12 months of graduation).
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and superior customer-service oriented skills desired.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical and presentation skills.
- English language and local language fluency for all roles.
- Full unrestricted work authorization for your chosen location.
