A bit about the role
Mott MacDonald are supporting the Department for Education to establish a national post-qualifying standard for Child and Family Social Workers. The National Assessment and Accreditation System (NAAS) is the programme we manage to roll out the new qualification across Local Authorities in England.
Mott MacDonald have responsibility for the end to end assessment process. From Local Authority engagement to candidate assessment and then the release of results. The Mott MacDonald NAAS delivery team are a customer focused dynamic group of management consultants, project managers and social care experts. They lead a consortium of partners to manage the NAAS Online Platform and ensure the successful delivery of the regional assessment centres.
What you'll be doing
The Facilitator is a key role within our delivery team as they are accountable for the candidates journey at the Assessment Centre. They are also tasked with the efficient set up and maintenance of both the equipment (laptop, tablets etc) and the IT platform where the candidates undertake various parts of the assessment.
As a Facilitator you will have the following responsibilities;
* Candidate experience and welfare
* Handling or escalating candidate complaints and queries
* Invigilating assessments
* Resolving issues on the IT platform
* Presenting information and guidance effectively to candidates
* Ensuring equipment is set up and taken down correctly
* Health and safety of the assessment centre location and activities
* GDPR and personal data protection
