Zendesk is looking for a highly experienced, high-energy Regional Vice President of Enterprise Sales who has a consistent track record of success with a solution and value driven sales approach in SaaS.

The ideal candidate will possess very strong sales management experience, have a demonstrably deep knowledge of Enterprise Selling and buying processes, be as equally adept and comfortable at presenting to the CEO of a large corporate as you are running all-hands for your sales organisation or driving the evolution of our internal processes to support your function in driving our future growth!

This is an opportunity to take a solidly established brand and sales function and accelerate growth across the region by collaborating with internal functions to drive strategic initiatives within your teams that result in material revenue growth for the region and Zendesk.

We're looking for someone who brings in-depth sales leadership expertise. We'd expect that you would play a key role in leading a highly visible and motivated sales team that focuses on both generating demand for Zendesk in the Enterprise space as well as sowing the seeds for both organic and non-organic revenue growth within our existing Strategic Enterprise accounts. We'd also love you to have a passion for great cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing strategic input to develop and grow the Zendesk Enterprise business in the region.

  • Build and execute on a regional sales plan to include cross-functional collaboration and delivery from Commercial Sales, Marketing, Pre-Sales, Success, Services and Sales Development organisations.

  • Support direct reports - both managers and individual contributors - by participating and leading in prospect meetings and engaging other corporate resources as required.

  • Ongoing mentoring and development of the sales team, including recruitment, on-boarding new Enterprise Account Executives and ongoing performance management.

  • Conducting and participating in regular forecast meetings.

  • Running and overseeing deal reviews and complex sales cycles.

  • Coaching direct reports on strategies to drive closure.

  • Reporting on all aspects of the business to senior sales management.

  • Consistently monitoring sales productivity and tracking the results.

  • Driving, maintaining and advocating the Zendesk sales and employee culture.

Required Skills:

  • 10 years of demonstrable, company leading software sales experience, including a minimum of 5 years of direct second line sales management experience.

  • Currently and successfully leading a team of Enterprise Sales Managers who have teams of individual contributors in a B2B software solution sales environment.

  • Exceptional presentation and listening skills.

  • Ability to source, recruit and train new Enterprise Account Executives and Sales Managers.
