We’re looking for a field-based Senior Partner Sales Executive based in the south of England with the ability to be based from the Zendesk London office, adjacent to Paddington Station.

As a Zendesk Senior Partner Sales Executive (PSE) your primary responsibility will be to drive revenue growth through our Partners across the United Kingdom, BeNeLux and Nordics regions.

This is an exciting opportunity for the PSE to be the General Manager of the territory. You will be given - and expected to demonstrate and leverage - a strong degree of autonomy, working within and supported by an experienced leadership team.

The ideal candidate will utilise their exceptional presentation, leadership and relationship building skills to convey Zendesk’s value proposition to individuals and large groups of sales people, as well as conduct sales trainings. You will be expected to be comfortable in the full cycle of partnering business - from targeting, prospecting, presenting, closing down legal concerns - through enablement and joint business planning through to revenue attainment.

They will work closely with the direct and partner sales teams to ensure successful lead sharing, execution of marketing programs and mindshare generating activities and be accountable to a partner revenue number for the territory.

Successful candidates will exhibit a robust nature that can challenge - but not be challenging - will possess strong critical thinking skills, have an executive presence, a ‘can-do’ attitude and an entrepreneurial spirit. They will likely today be a successful and experienced field-based Senior Partner Sales Manager or direct sales, field-based Account Executive with strong partner relationships and experience. The ideal candidate will have deep experience of subscription (SaaS) models, have boundless energy with ‘can-do’ and 'rolling up the sleeves' attitudes.

  • Ownership of a defined territory of existing and target partners

  • Self-starter mentality, able to be managed remotely with lower levels of day-to-day supervision

  • Ramp existing revenue generating partners

  • Locate, recruit, ramp and manage new revenue generating partner relationships

  • Develop and leverage executive partner relationships to grow Zendesk mindshare across all levels of the partnership

  • Understand partner business value and how Zendesk adds to it

  • Generate product knowledge, enthusiasm and passion for Zendesk’s award-winning platform, among partner sales and engineering teams

  • Maintain and execute against quarterly business and partner GTM plans

  • Work with Partner Marketing to develop and oversee marketing and incentive programs that fill the top of the sales funnel

  • Along with Partner Sales Consultant and Partner Engagement Manager, you will help partner enablement trainings

  • Facilitate communications and deal flow between partners and Zendesk direct sales teams

  • Collaborate with your peers and Partner leadership to support the overall growth of our Partner program by bringing your ideas, experience, and accountability to work every day

  • Think and act as the General Manager of your territory


  • Native English speaker - any other territory languages a benefit but not essential for role

  • 10+ years of experience in Partner and/or direct sales management

  • 5+ years of experience in SaaS sales or SaaS Partner sales management

  • Previous partner experience with Cloud Service companies preferred

  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills

  • ‘Roll-up-your-sleeves’ & entrepreneurial mentality

  • Strong executive presence and rockstar quota-carrying experience

  • 30% travel

  • Bachelor's Degree
