Position Description
:

Reporting to the Finance Director within the Business Partnering Finance team and managing a team of two, this role is responsible for being a subject matter expert in developing Egencia Finance reporting capabilties, driving insights through financial analysis and supporting in key projects & initiatives. This role requires strong business acumen, creative problem solving, exceptional database/tableau/excel based skills along with communication skills suitable to explain complex issues to senior non-finance business leaders, as well as, establishing scalable and automated processes and working closely with key stakeholders to drive positive and measurable change.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the continuous development of monthly business performance through creating standardised reporting decks which drive insights and hold business leaders accountable to results
  • Centrally coordinate the continuous development of the Egencia Finance deal modelling, review and approval processes. Working closely with salesforce this person will help to migrate the current excel based deal review model into Salesforce’s CPQ (Configure Price Quote) tool
  • Support the training and development of the wider business finance team on matters such as deal modelling, essbase/hyperion, SQL code writing/ data extractionm, database structure and investigative P&L analytics
  • The successful candidate will own coordinating the relationship with Analytics, BI reporting and data engineering teams across Egencia. Owning workload prioritisation for all functions on behalf of Egencia global finance team
  • Business partner with Egencia Strategic VP of Account Management. Owning forecast alignment and accountability for results. Supporting implementation/ramp up of major clients as well as driving profitable performance improvements of existing clients, as well as successful renewals support for existing major clients
  • Objectively analyse and challenge gaps on business profitability performance versus expectation
  • Provision of ad-hoc analysis, assisting in key projects and business support when required

Requirements:

  • You have significant finance experience in Online Corporate Travel Business. Experience in wider travel industry is preferred.
  • Have MBA in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering
  • Business Acumen. Hands-on knowledge of functional elements which are important for business profitability in order to influence, drive and positively impact business results
  • Proven experience solving complex problems utilizing financial modeling and analysis, including advanced Excel and experience working with BI tools
  • Significant Tableau experience is required
  • Significant experience with Financial Tools is required including Hyperion – Smart View/Essbase and ERP Oracle
  • Experience designing and presenting analysis in a concise manner to all levels of leadership globally
  • Proven experience working autonomously and with all levels of stakeholders inside and outside of Finance globally
  • Hands on experience owning the accuracy, reliability and relevance of the reporting and analysis
  • Ability to build trust and gain support of personnel across organization
  • Significant experience using SQL code and various SQL clients to skillfully navigate data architecture, check data robustness and build bespoke scripts to answer business performance questions
  • Has previously performed role of building robust reporting tools to drive business insights and decision making
