This is an exciting opportunity working as an Account Technology Strategist in the Public Safety and National Security (PSNS) business. Our UK PSNS business prides itself on supporting the organizations that ensure the safety and security of UK citizens, spanning defence, police, home and foreign affairs, justice and national security.

The Defence Technology Strategist role is a high-profile customer facing position in the UK PSNS Team. In this role, you will become a trusted technology advisor for the Front Line Commands and other Ministry of Defence Departments. You will be responsible for helping some of our most innovative and high profile customers with their digital transformation journeys. Working collaboratively with these customers, including some of the most influential people in the sector, you can directly influence the policy, strategy and delivery of their technology enabled services.

The Account Technology Strategist is a key part of the customer Account Team structure. You will work closely with our customers to understand their requirements, clarify and translate those requirements, and play back to them how our cloud based solutions can address their needs. Key to this role is ensuring our customers consume what they buy, maximizing the value they derive from their investment in our technology.

You will form a key part of the wider v-team supporting our customers and in doing so ensure that we make the best use of the resources available to deliver internal and external value. You will inspire and energize our customers to adopt our technology as part of their transformation strategy and in doing so you will have a direct impact on how defence is delivered.

You need to be able to travel to customer sites and organize your time effectively to deliver the best service to our customers and meet your personal goals.

Qualifications

Proven experience in digital transformation roles
Proven experience leading technical teams
Considerable technical sales experience
Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or business administration related degree. Master's degree preferred
Additional training or education in business, sales, or marketing preferred
Experience in business consulting or consultative selling is desired

Public sector related experience and ideally experience working with The MOD
